A round white ceramic jug, speckled and glazed, with a jute-wrapped handle. Arabic letterforms cover the lower two-thirds of the body in charcoal black, dense and close-set, thinning out toward the neck. The script wraps the curve of the piece from front to side, the strokes varying from fine hairlines to broader sweeps. About 5.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.
