Vase #13

A small, wide-bellied vase in unglazed sand-coloured stoneware, with the upper half glazed white and covered edge to edge in Arabic calligraphy painted in charcoal. The letterforms are loose and energetic, stacked and layered so they wrap the whole shoulder of the piece without a clear start or end.
