Vase #6

A two-handled terracotta vase, about 10 inches tall and 9 inches wide, painted a soft grey-white with Arabic calligraphy covering the full body from shoulder to base. The letterforms are painted in copper and warm bronze, varying from rich dark strokes to brighter metallic catches where the light hits. The script is loose and generous, letters overlapping and turning freely across the curved surface.
